With an ever increasing demand from millions of DStv subscribers in Nigeria for an economic-friendly bouquet that would still give access to sports especially football, like Barclay’s Premier League, Champions’ League, La liga etc., there has been a major response to that as the much needed Super Sports 3 Nigeria (SS3 Ni) and Super Sports 7 Nigeria (SS7 Ni) have been added to the DStv Compact Plus.

DStv is the digital satellite pay-tv service popularly used in Nigeria and Africa. This service is provided and managed by MultiChoice Africa, a multinational company based in South Africa. According to reports, over 97% of football lovers in Nigeria and indeed Africa rely so much on DStv for access to global football matches. Therefore I am not surprised that in order to penetrate the market more, DStv has introduced Super Sports 3 and 7 on their Compact Plus bouquet.

For subscribers in Nigeria, you no longer have to pay 11,650 NGN for the Premium bouquet to have access to the Super Sports channels. Simply pay 7,850 NGN to enjoy these global thrilling football league matches. In addition to these two sports channels, you also get to enjoy other sports channels like Super Sports 9, Select Sports 1 and 2, and the sports news-carrying channel, the Super Sports Blitz.

Now all sports lovers have got that economic-friendly all inclusive sports-enriched bouquet that glues you to your TV, especially with the start of this new Super League season – starting with the England’s Barclay’s Premier League.
Now, do you know that you can still enjoy the Nigerian NTA International Channel on DStv even when your subscription has expired? While you are encouraged to always stay connected to the enriching world of DStv by renewing your subscription before it goes off, there is hope in keeping up with activities in and outside Nigeria as DStv has introduced the DStv FreeView. This lets you retain NTA i on your expired account.

This is usually auto-activated on an active account but when you realize this channel does not come up after subscription expires, simply put a call across to Call Centre on Nigeria’s 012703232 or 08039003788, or visit any of the DStv offices near you for this FreeView inclusion on your DStv account.
